Tyrone Matthews is the Managing Partner of the Matthews Law Group, P.C. His experience includes civil litigation and all facets of subrogation litigation including workers compensation, auto, property, and deductible cases. Mr. Matthews is also an experienced workers compensation defense attorney having litigated all issues relating to compensation in California including Serious & Willful Misconduct and Labor Code §132a claims.
Mr. Matthews is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) and serves on the Committee for the Southern California Chapter. He is a frequent lecturer on practical issues facing insurance carriers, administrators, and employers on the effective deployment of subrogation recovery strategies. Mr. Matthews is also a member the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Matthews served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps where he also served as a Drill Instructor at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California.
Mr. Matthews is also very active in his community, where he has served on various boards and foundations including the Mira Costa Community College Foundation Board, Tri-City Hospital Foundation Board, and El Corazon Oversight Committee for the City of Oceanside. Mr. Matthews is also an active member of Economic Development Commission for City of Oceanside and a graduate of the San Diego FBI Citizen's Academy.

Matthew Soleimanpour specializes in civil litigation, subrogation, and employment law. Prior to joining the Matthews Law Group, P.C., Mr. Soleimanpour worked for one of the largest law firms in California, where he managed a substantial caseload concerning labor and employment disputes, including claims of harassment, discrimination and wrongful termination, on behalf of employers from the pre-litigation compliance stage and through the trial process. Mr. Soleimanpour also helped spearhead the firm’s subrogation practice, and assisted clients in the recovery of over $2 million in damages from 2010 through 2011. Mr. Soleimanpour has tried multiple cases to verdict as first chair trial counsel and has sat as second chair trial counsel on several other occasions in both state and federal court. Additionally, Mr. Soleimanpour has represented several clients at binding arbitration hearings, administrative hearings, and before the National Labor Relations Board.
Mr. Soleimanpour’s representative cases have been featured in the New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the Los Angeles Daily Journal. Further, Mr. Soleimanpour was honored as a Superlawyers Rising Star in 2015.
Together with Mr. Soleimanpour’s above-listed areas of expertise, he possesses extensive experience in class action litigation and e-discovery issues. Mr. Soleimanpour recently represented a global retailer in a consumer fraud and identity theft class action as its co-lead litigation counsel.
Mr. Soleimanpour received his J.D. from The Ohio State University – Moritz College of Law, where he earned a CALI Award in Dispute Resolution and was named to the Chancellor’s List in 2005 and 2006. He received his B.A. from the University of San Diego in 2003.
Mr. Soleimanpour is an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Iranian American Bar Association.
San Diego and Los Angeles Offices
Sabrina Ceraolo began her workers’ compensation defense career working at a large firm in their Orange County office. Ms. Ceraolo took a hiatus from workers' compensation and represented indigent clients involved in juvenile dependence cases for the County of San Diego Office of the Public Defender and later for a non-profit. Ms. Ceraolo decided to return to workers' compensation, joining Matthews Law Group, P.C. in July 2013.
Ms. Ceraolo has had the privilege of living abroad and has traveled extensively. She continues to enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. She also participates in at least two 5k runs a year and enjoys hiking the numerous trails in San Diego County.
Ms. Ceraolo received her Bachelors of Science from Northern Arizona University and her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.

San Francisco Office
Sheila Yazdi joined a large Los Angeles-based defense firm as an associate attorney in their San Francisco office where she specialized in complex civil litigation and construction defect. She additionally, had the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in the Employment and Workers’ Compensation departments. Subsequently, she launched her own private contract consulting practice and represented numerous firms in California, focusing primarily on Employment Litigation, Medical Malpractice and Workers’ Compensation matters.
Sheila received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law (cum laude).
Sheila has also clerked for the Environmental-Toxic Tort Department of the Illinois Attorney General's Office in Chicago, Illinois. She is a member of the State Bar of California; the Bar of the US District Court for the Northern District of California; and the US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. She also commits time to both the Iranian American Bar Association and San Francisco's Chapter of Queen's Bench.
In her free time, Sheila enjoys the California ski season, oyster eating around Tomales Bay and braving the cold Atlantic for the occasional surf session.

Seta Sarabekian is a litigation attorney at Matthews Law Group, P.C. with a focus in civil litigation, subrogation, and employment law. Prior to joining Matthews Law Group, P.C., Ms. Sarabekian gained invaluable experience as an attorney at a wage and hour class action firm in San Diego, California.
Ms. Sarabekian was born and raised in Bulgaria and moved to the United States in 2001. She spent her childhood in Palm Springs, California and then attended the University of California, San Diego where she graduated with a B.A. in International Relations in 2010. Ms. Sarabekian attended California Western School of Law on an academic scholarship and graduated on the Dean's List. Ms. Sarabekian obtained her J.D. degree and became a member of the California State Bar in 2014.
In her spare time, Ms. Sarabekian enjoys spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors with her two dogs.
